A H Supply offers an international version of the following Bright Kits that will accept any input voltage between 210V AC and 250V AC at 50-60Hz: - 1x36w Bright Kit - 2x36w Bright Kit - 1x55w Bright Kit - 2x55w Bright Kit - 1x96w Bright Kit These Bright Kits are exactly the same as the North American versions described elsewhere on this website except for the ballast. Even the ballast is the same as the North American ballast (except that for the 2x36w, 2x55w and 1x96w kits it is slightly longer in order to accommodate the voltage transformer electronics - 24cm long x 4.5 cm wide x 2.5cm high). Since the International and North American kits are otherwise exactly alike, you should make note of the following: 1) You will need an adaptor for the plug on the power cord. This adaptor should allow a North American 3-prong grounding plug (the code for which is NEMA 5-15P) to be inserted into your outlet or timer. 2) The instructions are only available in English and you will need to convert measurements from inches. 3) To use the screws included in these Bright Kits, you will need a Phillips screwdriver.
Shipping International transactions requires an extra effort on everyone's part, so before you click on Easy Ordering (in the left side column of this page) to order an International Bright Kit, please read everything below carefully. Take a deep breath. You may even want to print this page so you will have it for reference when you go to the United States Postal Service's website to calculate your shipping costs. When you place an order for delivery outside of the United States and U.S. Territories, you agree to the shipping charges (Post Office price, not Online Price) as calculated at the United States Postal Service website. Ignore the shipping charge shown in the online order form. We will adjust the price to the correct international shipping charge before we finalize the credit card payment. In order to calculate the international shipping charge yourself (not required, but you probably want to know) you will need to know 1) the total cost of the equipment you are ordering (before shipping charges), 2) the weight of your package and, 3) the dimensions of your package. 1) The shopping cart in the Easy Ordering section of our website will show you the total cost of the equipment you are considering ordering. As you will see later, package size restrictions for particular countries may require that you break your order down into two or more packages. In this case you will need to determine the total cost of the equipment in each package. 2) For one 1x36w or one 1x55w Bright Kit, use a shipping weight of 5 pounds. For two 1x36w kits or two 1x55w kits or one of each, use a shipping weight of 9 pounds. A third 1x36w or 1x55w will require a separate package so start over again with 5 pounds, etc. For one 2x36w or one 2x55w Bright Kit use a weight of 7 pounds. For two 2x36w kits or two 2x55w kits or one of each, use a weight of 13 pounds. A third 2x36w or 2x55w kit will require a separate package so start over again with 7 pounds, etc. For one 1x96w Bright Kit use a weight of 7 pounds. Add 6 pounds for each additional 1x96w kit up to a total of four. A fifth 1x96w Bright Kit will require a separate package so start over again with 7 pounds, etc. All these shipping weights allow for the appropriate bulbs for your kits plus an additional equal number of bulbs. 3) A package with one 1x36w, or one 1x55w, or one 2x36w, or one 2x55w kit will measure 25 inches Long x 13 inches Wide x 9 inches High so the Length plus Girth will total 69 inches. For two 1x36w kits, or two 1x55w kits, or two 2x36w kits, or two 2x55w kits, or two of any combination of 36w and 55w kits, the package will measure: 27"L x 12.5"H x 12.5"W and L + G = 77". A package for a 1x96w kit will measure 41"L x 8.5"W x 8.5"H and L + G = 75". A package for two, three or four 1x96w kits will measure 41"L x 12.5"W x 12.5"H and L + G = 91. You can also fit one or two 1x96w kits plus one 1x36w or one 1x55w or one 2x55w kit in this 41"L x 12.5"H x 12.5"W package. With the above information you can calculate your shipping costs at the United States Postal Service's website: http://www.usps.com When you arrive at the USPS home page, follow these steps: - select "Calculate Postage" - select "Calculate International Postage" - select your "Country" - select "Package" - enter the appropriate number of "Pounds", then select "Continue" - on the new page select "Show Dimensions" - As the size restrictions for your destination country allow, you may select "Priority Mail International" or "Express Mail International". A H Supply does not ship via any of the other "Service" classes shown on this page. If you wish your package to be shipped by Express, you MUST mention this in the Comments/Special Instructions section on the last page of the online order process. Note that the delivery "Time" shown on this page is, in our experience, optimistic. The actual time will depend a great deal on the delivery agent in your country. Priority Mail International may well take more than 10 days and a trace on these shipments cannot even be requested until at least 30 days beyond the ship date. - select "Add Extra Services" - select "Insurance" If this option is not available for Priority Mail International to your country then you can not have your package shipped this way. Instead, you will have to chose Express Mail International. - enter the total cost of the equipment being shipped and click "Add," do NOT select "Return Receipt" or "Pickup", then click "Continue" to get the total cost. Other Considerations Duties and fees are likely to be collected upon delivery. We do not ship to non-US addresses every business day. Please allow a full week for your order to be processed and shipped. Your equipment will be packaged extremely well, but if damage does occur you will have to do your part to get the insurance claim settled. This may involve presenting the damaged goods and all packing materials to the delivery agent for inspection, in addition to completing forms, etc.. We will refund your money after the insurance claim is settled or apply it to a new order as you prefer. Equipment to replace damaged items will require a new order to be placed. All Bright Kit components are warranted for one year but the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, duties and fees. There is no warranty on bulbs. Bulbs are fragile and accidents do happen. Even bumping a bulb when it is hot may be enough to break one of the internal filaments. We strongly recommend that you order at least one extra bulb. Even ordering an extra set of bulbs will add nothing to the initial shipping costs but will save you shipping costs down the road. You can estimate your shipping cost for replacement bulbs using the method shown above and the following weight and dimension information. For 36w and 55w bulbs figure 2 pounds for the first bulb and 1/2 pound for each additional bulb up to a per package limit of 12 and use the same package dimensions as for one 2x55w kit. For 96w bulbs figure 3 pounds for the first bulb and 1 pound for each additional up to a per package of limit 4 and use the same package dimensions as for a 1x96w kit.
