Shipping Rates to Canada (updated May 27, 2008)
A H Supply gladly ships to Canada and your order will usually be on its way within 3 business days after it is placed.
All Bright Kit and/or Compact Bulb orders to Canada are shipped through the Post Office by International Priority Mail, by International Express Mail, or, for some small and light packages, by International First Class Mail. In our experience, delivery is usually in 7-10 business days for Priority Mail or First Class Mail but there is no guarantee. Within 14 days is a pretty safe bet, though we have known it to take as long as 4 weeks. With Express Mail, delivery is usually in 4-6 business days with the additional benefit that the shipment is trackable.
Canada Post will usually collect applicable Taxes (such as GST) and will charge a brokerage fee of approximately CDN$5.00-$7.00. There are no additional brokerage charges or duties in our experience.
See below to determine the shipping cost for your order. Our on-line ordering software will always show the shipping charge for shipments in the United States. To speed the processing of your on-line order, please state in the Comments section on the last page of the online ordering process, "I understand the charge will be $_____ for ____ shipping." Fill in the blanks with the appropriate amount and shipping method so your order will not be delayed while we wait for an email confirmation of your agreement to the applicable shipping charge.
The following items,
when ordered alone, are small enough to ship to Canada at a fixed charge of $10.95 for International First Class Mail.- One to twelve 13 watt compact bulbs
For other equipment or larger orders of the equipment listed above, determine the total shipping weight of your order from the following list and then use the table below to calculate the shipping charge. Always round up to the next pound (e.g., 2.5 pounds = 3 pound rate).
1 x 36 or 1 x 55w Kit and matching bulb = 4 pounds each
2 x 36 or 2 x 55w Kit and matching bulbs = 6 pounds each
1 x 96w Kit and matching bulb = 6 pounds each
2 x 96w Kit and matching bulbs = 9 pounds each
1 or 2 96w compact bulbs = 4 pounds (each additional = 1.5 pounds)
1 or 2 36w or 55w compact bulbs = 2 pounds (each additional = 1/2 pound)
Finished Enclosures (calculate as a separate package) 20" (7 pounds) 24" (8 pounds) 30" (9 pounds), 36" (12 pounds) - 48" enclosures are too large to ship to Canada -

| Package size restrictions mean that some orders must be shipped in multiple packages. For instance, no more than 6x55w or 6x96w with bulbs can be shipped in one Priority Mail package, so an order for 8x55w with bulbs would require two 12 pound packages. With Express Mail, no more than 2x96w or 6x55w can be shipped in one package, so an order for 4x96w with bulbs would require two 9 pound packages. We will contact you for approval of the shipping charge if it is more than you calculate. | ||
